Born in Kaduna, Nigeria on the 25th of April, 1979 to Sir Patrick Ibrahim and Dame Amina Elizabeth Yakowa, Theresa Kyola Olajide, fondly called Kyola, completed her primary education in 1990 and proceeded to the Federal Government Girls College, Zaria, Kaduna where she obtained her Senior School Certificate.
First amongst four siblings, the respected and charming Kyola trained as an Accountant, obtaining the Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Abuja. She returned to the classroom in 2003, this time to the prestigious University of Glasgow in Scotland where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Accounting to solidify the foundation for her successful career.

Background
Her journey as an Accountant started with the African International Bank Limited, from where she moved to the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation. She has since worked with the National Population Commission (NPC), Presidential Committee on the North East Initiative (PCNI) and the Multi-Sectoral Crisis Recovery Project Her love and passion; her hard work, sincerity and dedication has seen her rise through the ranks in her profession. A professional per excellence with over 17years experience, Theresa Kyola Olajide is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). Widely travelled, Kyola loves to read, sing and listen to music. She’s currently an Assistant Director with the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation She is happily married to Olushola Olajide. Their union is blessed with beautiful children.
